The Clinch Knot
The Dog is fishing the Roam River in Montana when the death of a friend, Jessie, a local white girl is pinned on another friend Sneed, a young black man who can’t defend himself because of carbon monoxide poisoning. Ned investigates a local lawyer with odd aspirations, a pair of white supremacists, and the local fly fishing outfitter who employed both the suspect and the victim.
